The Advent uses the obligatory 1.6Mhz Atom processor from Intel and crams in 1Gb RAM and an 80Gb hard drive, all good so far. The screen size is a usable 10.2″ display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, which makes browsing the web a decent experience.
There are also 3 USB ports, bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel webcam squeezed into a netbook that only weights 1.3Kg. With Windows XP Home included this netbook an extremely useful and usable travelling companion and all this for £280.
